WALTER E. FARR OF PERU DIED SATURDAY

Veteran Resident Succumbs After Year of Failing Health

Walter E. Farr, long-time resident of the Peru community, died at his home there last Saturday, after more than a year of failing health. He was 63 years of age.

Mr. Farr was born near Peru on March 22, 1877, and spent his entire life in this neighborhood except for 12 years in Clark couty. He was married to Iva D. Rhone on Feb. 21, 1921.

A year ago failing health forced him to retire from the farm and move into Peru, where his death occurred.

He is survived by his wife; a sister, Mrs. Ella Barnard of Cedar, and several nieces and nephews.
