SAMUEL DARNALL DIED HERE LAST SATURDAY

Life-Long Resident Passes at County Home; No Near Relatives

Samuel Darnall, aged resident of the Madison county farm, died there last Saturday after a brief illness. He was about 75 years of age.

Mr. Darnall was a native and life-time resident of Madison county. About 40 years of his life was spent as a hand at the William Beard farm near Winterset. He was the son of George and Margaret Darnall, and had no near surviving relatives.

Funeral services were held Monday from Anderson's home for funerals in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Hooten cemetery.
