MRS. D. E. BARDRICK

Savilla Christella Bardrick, daughter of Eli and Caroline Snyder, was born on April 30, 1869, near Dexter, Iowa. Here she grew to young womanhood and on Nov. 27, 1888 she was united in marriage to David E. Bardrick and to this union, four children were born, two dying in infancy; Cleo and George at home.

She was reared in childhood near Penn Center M. E. church and early in life made a professions of her faith in Christ, and united with the Penn Center church, afterward uniting with the Bethel M. E. church near her home.

She was kind and tenderhearted and sweet in her disposition, being a good companion to her husband and a good mother to her children. She had lived at her present home for over 31 years, where she died March 10, 1920.

She leaves to mourn her death, the husband, two children, three brothers: J. A. and W. L. Snyder of Des Moines and Adam H. Snyder of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Mary Orr of Baxter, Iowa, and many friends.

The funeral services were conducted from the home by Rev. Jacksons Giddens, on Thursday and the remains were laid to rest in the Winterset cemetery.
