BOYCE H. SIMPSON Rites Thursday in Des Moines

Boyce H. Simpson, who lived in Winterset for many years, died Tuesday, April 26th at the Veterans hospital in Des Moines. He was 86 years of age.

He was born in Madison county, Feb. 12, 1880, a son of Samuel and Airy Finley Simpson. He moved from here to Des Moines in 1943.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers. His nearest surviving relatives are a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Thursday at the Glendale cemetery in Des Moines, conducted by Rev. Tom Foglesong.
