Death of Wm. A. McKibben

William A. McKibben, a former resident of Winterset, died Monday, April 13 at the Edward J. Hines hospital near Chicago. The Rev. W. G. Olgevee, pastor of the South Park Presbyterian church of Rock Island, Illinois, conducted the funeral services which were held at the Estherdahl mortuary chapel at Moline on Thursday, April 16. Burial was in the memorial park cemetery of Rock Island.

Mr. McKibban is survived by his wife and daughter, Leone, a brother, C. E. McKibben of Greenfield and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Bonham of Macksburg and Mrs. W. V. Reed of Winterset.

The deceased was born August 29, 1875 in Winterset, but he had resided the last 12 years in Rock Island. He was a veteran of the Spanish American war and an employee of the Rock Island and the Great Western railroads for the past 30 years.
