Mrs. Lillie Waechter received a telegram last Friday telling of the death of her brother, Joe Fenimore, of Scottsbluff, Neb.
Mr. Fenimore who was 73 years of age, formerly lived in this county, and was a son of William and Martha Fenimore, pioneer residents. He had lived in Nebraska for the past 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, who was the former Miss Ettie Young of this county. He also leaves a brother, Elmer of Neosho, Mo., two sisters, Mrs. Waechter and Mrs. Rhoda Schoenenberger of Peru, and two half sisters, Mrs. Ora Creger and Mrs. John Essex of Des Moines.

Page 4, Column 8Scottsbluff man is dead of injuries
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. Joseph Fenimore, 72, died at a hospital last night of injuries suffered in an automobile crash south of here Sunday. It was the first Scottsbluff county traffic fatality of 1941.
Fenimore was a Custer county commissioner and lived in Merna before coming here 13 years ago. Funeral services will be held at Merna Sunday. Survivors include two daughters, a son, a brother and two sisters.
