Services Held Friday From Fellowship Church; Burial Made at Corning
Leroy Garber, a resident of Madison county for the past 20 years, died July 8 at Rochester, Minn. He was 56 years of age.
Mr. Garber was born Oct. 15, 1884, near Corning, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Garber. He was married to Pauline Winkler on April 21, 1909. They were the parents of one son, Arthur Leroy Garber.
He was a member of the Fellowship church in Monroe township.
Surviving the deceased are his wife and son; his mother, Mrs. John Garber; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Bolivar of Floris, Mrs. Clara Bunting of Bloomfield, and Mrs. Esther Vannoy of Farson; and three brothers, Harlie Garber of Packwood, Guy Garber of Bladensburg and Sherman Garber of Farson.
Funeral services were held from the Fellowship church last Friday, conducted by the Rev. Edgar Thompson of Renwick, a former pastor and a close friend of the family. Burial was made in Forrest Hill cemetery near Corning.
