The body of Mrs. Hattie McCombie, whose death had occurred at Council Bluffs, was brought to Winterset Sunday for burial in the local cemetery.
Mrs. McCombie was a resident of Winterset for about 40 years. She was a native of England, moving from there to Canada where she was married to John M. McCombie. They came to Winterset about 1900 and here Mr. McCombie operated a tailoring shop for many years. His death occurred here about 20 years ago.
Mrs. McCombie moved to Council Bluffs about 10 years ago to make her home with her son, Harry McCombie. She was about 90 years of age at the time of her death.

Mrs. Harriett McCombie, mother of Harry McCombie, a former Winterset druggist, died at the home of her son in Council Bluffs. Mrs. McCombie was 84 years of age.Funeral services were conducted in Council Bluffs and the body was brought here for burial, Sunday afternoon, in the Winterset cemetery.
Mr. McCombie, while living in Winterset, operated the drug store on the West side of the square now owned by Herman Lewis.
