From Jefferson

Mrs. Fosher went down to Van Meter on the 26th of last month to take care of her daughter, Mrs. Jones, the next morning she was taken sick and died on the morning of Oct. 1st. Mrs. Jones is recovering.

Transcriber's note: Transcribed as published, last name should be "Foshier" per gravestone. Buried in the Jefferson-Goar Cemetery.
