Mrs. A. W. Johnson of Winterset has received word of the death of her nephew, Pvt. Floyd Neff of Des Moines, who was killed in action Feb. 4 on the North African front. He was among the first American soldiers sent across the Atlantic.
The young soldier was also a grandson of Mrs. Lou Hamilton of Winterset. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Neff of Ft. Des Moines. The mother formerly lived in Winterset.
