FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT BEACON

W. S. Lindsley Farmed Near St. Charles Between 1910 and 1929

William S. Lindsley, former resident of near St. Charles, died Oct. 6, at his home in Beacon. He was the father of Mrs. Frank Neal of Winterset.

Mr. Lindsley was a native of Pella, where he was born March 14, 1865. He lived on a farm near St. Charles from 1910 until 1929, moving from there to Beacon, where his death occurred.

In addition to his daughter here, he is survived by his wife; four sons, Paul Lindsley of Detroit, Clyde Lindsley of Del Rio, Tex, Clifford Lindsley of the U. S. army and Charles Lindsley of Pontiac, Mich. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. O. R. Shaw of Tacoma, Wash.
