Death of Olna Lee Stewart

Olna Lee Stewart, well known resident of Madison county, died at his home near Lorimor, Wednesday, March 28th, at the age of 59 years. He was a son of Robert and Katharine Hake Stewart, and was born in Jackson township near Earlham on July 10, 1874. Ol, as he was familiarly known received his early education in the public schools of Jackson township. He attended church and Sunday school at Early chapel.

His marriage to Miss Lois Clare Miller, took place February 26, 1913, and they were the parents of two children: Bessie who died in infancy and Phillip, aged ten. After their marriage they moved to his farm near Lorimor, and they have since made that place their home.

In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Grace Bissell, and two brothers, William and Bert Stewart, all of this county.

Short services were held at the home at 12 o’clock Friday, March 30th, and from there the body was taken to the Worthington church for the funeral service which was held at 2 o’clock. Burial was at Worthington. The Rev. A. R. Weed, pastor of the West Star and Worthington churches had charge of the services.
