CHARLES W. LIBBY Died Wednesday

Charles W. Libby, member of a well-known family in Madison county, died Wednesday, July 30, 1952, at the Horton Nursing home here. He was 76 years of age.

Mr. Libby was born in Kane county, Illinois, on March 2, 1876, but had lived in Madison county 54 years. His wife, the former Gertrude Henson, preceded him in death.

Surviving relatives include a son, Clarence E. Libby of Berwick; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret S. Smith of Ft. Scott, Kan.; three brothers, Elmer, Bert and Frank Libby, all of Winterset; and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Linn of Ralston.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 1, from Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
