Member of Pioneer Family in Winterset Was 80 Years of Age
A member of a pioneer Winterset family, Mrs. Lee B. Tidrick died at the Winterset Hospital last Friday at the age of 80 years. She had been ill for several months.
Mrs. Tidrick was born in Winterset Aug. 10, 1864, and spent all her life here. She was the former Sarah Alice Rutledge, daughter of Dr. George and Nancy Rutledge.
She was married to Lee B. Tidrick on Sept. 27, 1883. They were the parents of five children. A daughter, Lena, died at the age of 3 years and a son, Robert, died in 1924.
She was a member of the Winterset Presbyterian church, Eastern Star and Woman's Relief Corps.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. E. V. Alexander of Bell, Calif.; two sons, Arthur Tidrick of Whittier, Calif. and Clarence Tidrick of Winterset; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday from Ramsey-Richards funeral home in charge of the Rev. Arthur Mortenson, pastor of the Winterset Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
