August 16, 1944MRS. MARY GAMBLE DIES
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Mary Gamble of Glendora, Calif. on Monday Aug. 7th. Mrs. Gamble, who was 40 years of age had been seriously ill all summer. Her funeral services were held at Glendora, Aug. 9th and burial was made in that city.
Mrs. Gamble was the former Mary Tidrick of Winterset. She is survived by her four sons, Carol, Clair, Billie and Jack Gamble. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Harry Tidrick of Glendora, a brother, Miller Tidrick of Los Angeles and a sister, Mrs. Max Van Scoy of Davenport.
Two of her sons are in the U. S. Navy; Carol is attending school at Annapolis, Md. and Clair is stationed at Corpus Christi, Tex. The other two sons, Bill and Jack are at home.
