LAST RITES HELD FOR RICHARD STORCK

Funeral services for Richard C. Storck, member of a prominent pioneer family in northern Madison county, were held last Friday at the Fisher Funeral home in Van Meter.

Mr. Storck died June 30 at Clarinda, Ia. He had suffered a stroke three years ago, from which he never recovered. He was 78 years of age.

The son of George and Henrietta Storck, he was born on the Storck farm in Madison township on July 30, 1875. With the exception of a few years spent in North Dakota, he continued to live in this county the remainder of his life.

In 1910 he was married to Marguerite Hillian. She died in 1935.

Mr. Storck was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Paul and Walter Storck and two sisters, Lucy and Fernanda Storck, all of Madison county.

Officiating at the services last Friday was the Rev. C. Lillie. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.
