Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Fisher funeral home at Van Meter for Ralph D. Rush, whose death had occurred Monday, April 5 at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. Burial was made in the Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Rush was 48 years of age at his death. He had been in failing health the last two years.
He was born at Van Meter Sept. 15, 1905, a son of Lee and Lucy Rush. He graduated from the DeSoto high school with the class of 1924. Prior to his illness, he had been employed in construction work at Pasco, Wash.
He is survived by his stepfather, Bert Rinard of Booneville; and the following children of Mr. Rinard; Russell and Carroll Rinard of Booneville, Harold of Burbank, Calif., Evelyn Bomar, Mary Mintle and Hilda Sandusky of Earlham, Bonnie Feldman of Van Meter and Peggy Cunningham of Portland, Ore.
