LAST RITES HELD FOR MRS. ROY REED

Services for Mrs. Roy J. Reed, 55, of Des Moines, who died last Thursday of a heart ailment at the Iowa Lutheran hosptial were held Saturday at Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial was in the cemetery in Indianola.

Born in Woodburn, Mrs. Reed lived near Winterset eleven years, before moving to Des Moines. She was a graduate of Indianola High School and had attended Iowa State Teachers College. She was an elementary school teacher in Warren County. She was a member of the Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving besides her husband are four sons, Rodney J., Aubrey H. and Dennis W. all at home, and Cpl. Norman L. with the army at Fort Bragg, N. C.; three brothers, C. C. Keen of Booneville, Cal., I. W. Keen of Indianola and Dr. B. E. Keen of Des Moines; and a sister, Mrs. Inez Oestreicher of New Virginia.
