CHARLEY REDBURN DIED HERE MONDAY

Funeral Held Tuesday With Burial in Winterset Cemetery

Charley Redburn, a resident of Winterset for more than 60 years, died at Madison county Memorial hospital here Monday, Aug. 30. He was 82 years of age.

Mr. Redburn was born on a farm near Oskaloosa on June 12, 1872 the fifth child of Joseph B. and Mary Ann Eunk Redburn. When he was 12 years old he moved with his parents to Adair county and he later came to Winterset.

He was married in June 1902 at Creston, to Mrs. Mae Rust Berry. She preceded him in death in 1945.

He is survived by a step-son, Glenn Berry of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Joe Redburn and a sister, Carrie McKee, both of Stuart.

Funeral services were held here Tuesday from the Anderson home for funerals conducted by the Rev. W. W. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
