HENRY L. PORTER STRICKEN SUDDENLY

Henry L. Porter of Winterset died Tuesday March 9 at Madison county Memorial hospital after being stricken with a sudden heart attack. He was 77 years of age.

Mr. Porter had spent his active life farming in Union and Adams counties. He retired in 1936 and moved with his family to Creston where they lived until moving to Winterset to make their home a few months ago.

Funeral services have been set for this Friday at 2 p.m. from the Anderson home for funerals. The Rev. Walter Cecil, pastor of the Winterset Baptist Church will be in charge. Burial will be made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
