Funeral services for Boyd W. Landers, 74, were held last Saturday afternoon from the United Brethren church in Van Meter.
Mr. Landers died on Sept. 29 at his home in Van Meter, where he had been in the restaurant business for many years.
The son of Maria and Jonathon Landers he was born on a farm near Winterset on March 6, 1880.
On March 9, 1915 he was united in marriage with Blanche Green in Ogden, Utah.
Mr. Landers was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church, Masonic lodge and the Eastern Star lodge.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Boyd of Dexter, Carl of Washington, D. C. and Lindy of Kansas City, Mo., two grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. John Gibson of Van Meter, and three brothers, Ezra of Van Meter, Beech of Dexter and Burke of Des Moines.
Burial was in the Van Meter cemetery.
