FINAL RITES HELD FOR ERNEST HARDEN

Funeral services for Ernest S. Harden were held at the Bickford Funeral Home in Greenfield Tuesday afternoon, April 6th. Services were conducted by Rev. A. R. Weed of Lamoni assisted by Rev. Donald Cutler of Hebron. Burial was in the Greenfield cemetery.

Ernest S. Harden was born in Cedar county Iowa January 25, 1870 and passed away April 4th at the age of 84 years. He was married to Maggie Lauer January 22, 1896. They established their home near Hebron and have lived on various farms in Grand River township their entire married life.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons and two daughters; Durl of Greenfield, Nile of Winterset, Clara at home, Blanche Cook of Creston and Edith Ramsey of Orient and a sister, Nell Buck of Vail.
