Page 1Death of Charles Dooley
Charles Dooley, 82, one of the old pioneers of Madison county, died April 25th, at the home of his son George in Lee township where he had resided for several years.
He was born May 21, 1852 in Canada. He came to this county in 1859, where he had lived since that time.
He was married to Margaret Banks in 1874. She preceded him in death May 9, 1907. To this union were born twelve children. His children who survive him are Mary King, Collette King, Cora Reiman, Hanorah Reiman, Gertrude Conner, Agnes Hamm, James and George Dooley.
The Rev. M. F. Dugan conducted the services at St. Patrick’s church Saturday morning and the burial was at the St. Patrick’s cemetery.
