MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. - Memorial services for Harlan A. Griffin, 49, of Minneapolis will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Bear Creek Friends Church in Earlham, Ia. Burial of the cremains will be at the church cemetery. He died of a heart ailment June 30 at a hospital here.
Mr. Griffin, who was born in Dexter, Ia., spent most of his life in Earlham until moving here 10 years ago. He was working at the Minneapolis Medical Center. He was an Army veteran and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church here.
He is survived by two brothers, Keith A. of Earlham and Corbett A. of Ames, Ia.; and a grandmother, Lota Applegate of Woodward, Ia.
