Walter “Bud” Shuff, 69, of Grand Junction died May 17, 2007, at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial was at Wallace Cemetery in Wick.
Walter Shuff was born and raised in rural Warren County, near St. Charles. Walter worked for Sargents Rock Quarry in Winterset for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Angela Shuff; three grandchildren; a brother; and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lengeman; children — Christine and Pamela Shuff and Stacey Lenguadoro, all of Indianola, Monica Baringer of New Virginia, Susan Lengeman of Des Moines and Anthony Jones and Anne Lengeman, both of Grand Junction; two brothers, Joe and Larry Shuff; three sisters, Anna McDaniel, Phyllis Norgard and Peggy Holliday; and 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
