Funeral Services Conducted Sunday at Tidrick's Funeral Home
William Albert Blair, well-known Winterset man died at his home here last Friday after a brief illness. He was 61 years of age.
Mr. Blair was the son of Jerry and Margaret Thomas Blair, and was born August 14, 1876 in Stuart. As a young man, he moved with his parents to Madison county, and with the exception of two years spent in Minnesota and South Dakota, he had always made this county his home.
On January 1, 1902, he was married to Nona M. Johnson. They were the parents of one daughter, the present Mrs. Fern Madole of Des Moines.
As a young man, Mr. Blair had attended the Christian church, but in later years, he affiliated with the Primitive Baptist congregation here.
In addition to his wife and daughter, he leaves his aged mother and two sisters.
Funeral services were held from the Tidrick funeral home Sunday in charge of Elder B. L. Nay of Cedar Falls. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
