WELLMAN KOCH DIES

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kipp received word last Friday of the death of their son-in-law, Wellman Koch of Mullhall, Oklahoma. Mr. Koch, who was 32 years of age, suffered a stroke Thursday night while directing the high school band and orchestra in a special Christmas program at the school. He died the following day.

His wife is the former Miss Iris Gordon of Winterset and the two of them were instructors in the Mullhall schools. He leaves his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. Koch and a sister, Miss Dorothy of Anthony, Kansas and a brother of Winoka, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held at Mullhall Sunday morning at ten o'clock and the body was taken to Anthony, Kansas for burial. Mrs. Koch's sister, Miss Cleta Gordon left here Christmas day for Mullhall to attend the funeral services.
