Mrs. Anna Grove, a well-known resident of Winterset for many years, died at her home here last Friday. She was 71 years of age.

Mrs. Jackson had lived in Winterset since 1901. In her youth she had united with the Methodist church near Hebron, but later about 1895, she joined the Seventh Day Adventist church, remaining a member the remainder of her life.

She is survived by her husband; her five children, Mrs. Delbert Clark of Nevada, Mrs. Robert C. Dunn of Winterset, Leslie and Alvin Jackson of Winterset, all by her first marriage and her daughter by her second marriage, Mrs. Cecil Bridges of Douglas township. One son by her first marriage, Alvie Lorenzo died in infancy. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mayer of Dalton, Nebraska, and Mrs. Sarah Hardman of Creston and four grandchildren and three foster grandchildren.

Four brothers, Phillip, Henry, Walter and John, and a sister, Caroline, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Adventist church in Winterset in charge of Elder J. A. Gordon of Des Moines. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
