Death of George Acker

A number of Winterset and Madison county people drove to Des Moines, last Saturday afternoon to attend the funeral services of George Acker, which were held at Dunn's funeral home. Mr. Acker was 81 years of age and died following a short illness with pneumonia. He leaves his wife, who was the former Chris Schoenenberger of this county.

Those driving down for the services were as follows; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilkinson, Mrs. W. Edward Clark, Mrs. Laura Cridling, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schoenenberger of Winterset and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schoenenberger and Mrs. Paul Trip and son of Peru
