DEATH OF DAVID DUFF

Son of Madison County Pioneer Died Lst Sunday

David Crosby Duff, well-known Madison county resident, died at the Creston hospital Sunday, Oct. 2, after an extended illness. Mr. Duff who was 73 years of age, was a son of Arthur and Eliza Duff, pioneer settlers of Madison county. He was born in this county May 21, 1865.

About twenty years of his early life were spent in Chicago and the rest in Madison county. He was one of a family of eight children, all of whom have preceded him in death except two brothers, A. R. Duff of Winterset and James Duff. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

The Rev. W. G. Robertson, pastor of the United Presbyterian church conducted his funeral services at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home Tuesday afternoon, October 4th and burial was made in the United Brethren church seven miles northeast of Winterset.
