Services for Jessie Cooper

Jessie Ellen Cooper, an 87-year-old resident of Madison County and a member of the Lorimor community, died Sunday, July 27 at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. She formerly resided in a Winterset nursing home.

Mrs. Cooper was born the daughter of John W. and Ellen Murphy Patrick December 17, 1887. She was married to Robert Cooper at Lorimor August 21, 1912.

Surviving Mrs. Cooper are two sons, Blair and Armand of Lorimor; three daughters, Mrs. Veane Kneller of Cedar Falls, Mrs. Corrine Euschen of Story City and Mrs. Robert Wasserman of Clear Lake, California; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Leane Trexder of Omaha, Nebraska.

Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and five sisters.

Funeral services for Jessie Cooper were held Thursday July 31 at 10:30 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Lorimor, the Rev. Kathryn Williams officiating. Burial was made in the Lorimor cemetery.
