Death of J. Wesley Imes

J. Wesley Imes, former Winterset resident, died at his home in Milwaukee, last Wednesday, December 2, at the age of 78 years. Mr. Imes had been in poor health for a number of years and pneumonia brought about his death last week.

He leaves his wife, who was the former Miss Emma Bayer of Winterset, and their five children; Cleon Ormand, Mrs. Vera Stringer and Otho Imes of Milwaukee and Mrs. Mildred Harriman of New Mexico. Mr. Imes is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Frank Clark of Winterset. The funeral services and burial was held in Milwaukee.

J. W. Imes Dies

Mrs. C. F. Clark has received word of the death of a brother-in-law, J. W. Imes, 78 of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, last week. Mr. Imes was born and raised in Madison county, was married to Miss Emma Bayer and lived here for some time. Burial was in Milwaukee.
