Winterset, IowaWilma M. Howard, 78, died of cancer Sun., March 30 at home. Services are being held at 2 p.m. April 1 at Cory Grove Community Church, Elkhart.
The Rev. Mrs. Howard had pastored with her late husband at Winterset, as well as Hamilton, Tracy, Marshalltown and Des Moines. She retired as a secretary at Deere and Company Des Moines Works. Born in Waterloo, she lived in Cory Grove, Waterloo, Nebraska and Illinois, moving to Ankeny in 1956.
Survivors include three daughters, Marsha Hardesty of Des Moines, Donna Phillips of Jacksonville, Ala. and Melodee Ruggles of Ankeny; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Cory Grove Cemetery.
