PERRY HARRELL DIES AT 53

Perry Paul Harrell, a native of the Peru community and a former resident of near Winterset and Truro, died of cancer Friday at his home in Des Moines. He was 53 years of age.

Mr. Harrell had lived in Des Moines for 28 years and was sales and service manager for Taylor Topper of Iowa.

He was a graduate of Winterset High School and a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Des Moines.

Surviving are his widow, Wanda; a son, Gary L. Harrell and a daughter, Mrs. G. Kent Havens, both of Des Moines; his mother, Mrs. Lee Harrell of Winterset; a brother, Billie Harrell of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and five grandchildren.

Services were held Monday from Dunn's Funeral home in Des Moines with burial in the Winterset Cemetery.
