OBITUARY

Stacy Miles Stanford, son of C. E. and Hanna Pearson Stanford, was born near Altoona, Iowa, on May 22, 1887. He passed from this life on December 30, 1957, at the age of 70 years, seven months, and eight days.

Mr. Stanford lived most of his life in Booneville, Iowa. At the time of his death he was at the Iowa Soldiers' Home in Marshalltown, Iowa.

He is survived by one niece, Mrs. John Coelman of Des Moines, and two cousins, who are Mrs. Kelly of Winterset, and Mr. Ernest Pearson of California.

Funeral services were held in the Leeper Funeral Home at Earlham on January 2, 1958. L. Willard Reynolds, pastor of the local Friends church officiated. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.
