DR. W. O. RUBY DIES; WAS FORMER RESIDENT

Friends have recently received word of the death of Dr. W. O. Ruby, at his home in Zion, Illinois, after an illness of five weeks at the age of 79.

Dr. Ruby left Winterset for Zion, Illinois in the spring of 1899. The immediate family at that time accompanying him were his wife and two children, Nellie and Harry.

Dr. Ruby is survived by the two children, both of Chicago.

The Rubys formers lived in the house at 309 East Sourth street now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Vance. Dr. Ruby was a grandson of Isaac and Mary Ruby, pioneer settlers of Madison county.
