FRANCIS HULTGEN BURIAL HERE

Francis F. Hultgen of Oak Lawn, Ill., died Friday, February 8, at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn at the age of 67. A lifelong resident of the Chicago area, Mr. Hultgen was chief electrical operator for the city of Chicago.

Born on December 21, 1912 in Chicago, he was the son of John and Clara Weimerskirch Hultgen. In 1940 he was united in marriage to Helen M. Schmalzl in Chicago. His wife survives him.

An army veteran of World War II, Mr. Hultgen was past president of the Allied Florist Association, a life member of V.F.W. Post 5220 at Oak Lawn, and was a Catholic.

Also among the survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Judy Maass of Lorimor; two brothers, James of Chicago and John of Burbank, Ill.; two sisters, Madeline Cleary of California and Clara Differending of Park Forest, Ill.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers and sisters.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 14, at the Winterset Cemetery with Father Gene Cunningham officiating.
