Soren Peterson, an elderly and highly respected resident of the Blair Chapel neighborhood, passed away Friday evening.
Funeral services were held at Blair Chapel Sunday afternoon with burial in the nearby cemetery.

Crawford Township Farmer Passes After Ten Days Illness
Soren Petersen, Crawford township resident who lived _____ miles southeast of Patterson died Saturday, Nov. 11th, after an illness of about ten days. Funeral services and burial were at Blair Chapel, Sunday, Rev. Lucius L. Smith of the St. Charles Methodist church conducting the funeral services.
The family moved to the farm near Patterson 23 years ago.
Remaining members of his family are Mrs. Petersen, two daughters, Mrs. Marie McKinney of Atlantic, and Mrs. Alma McKinney of Winterset. Also two sons, Andrew Petersen of Maxwell, and Lawrence, who resides at home.
