Death of Mrs. Pursell

Mrs. Orinda Florence Pursell, for many years a familiar figure in Winterset, died at her home here last Thursday after a brief illness. She was 72 years of age.

Mrs. Pursell was born in Madison county on January 25, 1864, the daughter of Wilson and Sarah Dorrell. As a young woman she was married to Isaac Berlein. There were two children by that marriage, Mrs. T. L. DeBord of Winterset and Clarence Berlein of Glenwood. Her husband died in 1913 and she was later married to Mathew Pursell who survives her.

In addition to her husband and two children, she is survived by two brothers; Harvey Dorrell of Des Moines and Condo Dorrell of Duluth, Minnesota; and a sister, Lillian Bragg of Seattle, Washington. She also leaves eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from Tidrick's funeral home, Saturday in charge of the Rev. J. H. Cochrane, pastor of the Winterset Baptist church. Burial was made in the Baptist cemetery.
