There is a Reaper Whose Name is Death and He Gathers Many Sheaves
Samuel Richmond died at his home in Webster township, Madison county, Iowa, May 2, 1902 at the age of 35 years. Deceased was one of the most worthy and most respected citizens of his community. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his departure, besides a large number of relatives and a large circle of friends and acquaintances. The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, May 3, at the Pleasant View church, conducted by Rev. Knoll, of Macksburg.

MacksburgMr. Sam Richmond died very suddenly last Friday night and was buried on Saturday.

McPhersonThe death of Sam Richmond was a surprise to nearly everyone as many as not knew he was dangerously ill. He was well known and respected here. The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of all.
