Wednesday, May 28, 1958MRS. JAMES SEIFRED DIES AT 89 YEARS
Mrs. James F. Seifred of Peru died last Thursday, May 22, at Memorial hospital in Winterset, at the age of 86 years.
Mrs. Seifred was the former Rosa B. Weaver, daughter of William and Mary Jane Porter Weaver. She was born at Peru Dec. 15, 1871. Her marriage to James F. Seifred occurred Nov. 28, 1917, at Red Oak. They were parents of a daughter, who preceded the mother in death.
Surviving are her husband; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Jane Gifford of Winterset, and Mrs. James Dragoo of Red Oak.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Ray Harness and the Rev. Forrest Davis. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
