ELSON ROBERTSON DIES AT 68 YEARS

Life-Long Farmer Had Lived in Madison County for 58 Years

Elson W. Robertson, a well known farmer, who had lived in Madison county for 58 years, died at Memorial hospital in Winterset last Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the age of 68 years.

Mr. Robertson was born at Wellington, Kan., on May 9, 1890, a son of S. S. and Sarah I. Whitacre Robertson. He was married at Des Moines in 1911 to Catherine Henderson, who survives him.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two brothers, Solon T. Robertson of Caldonia, O., and Thomas H. Robertson of Magnolia, O.; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Riggs of Centralia, Wash.; two granddaughters; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. W. W. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
