MRS. EARL NELSON OF NEAR PITZER DIES

Life-Time Resident of This County Was 66 Years of Age

Mrs. Earl E. Nelson, a long-time resident of the Pitzer community, died last Friday, Oct. 17, at the age of 66 years.

Mrs. Nelson was the former Mary Forbes. She was born in Douglas township on June 4, 1892. Her entire life was spent in this county. She had been a life-time member of the Pitzer United Presbyterian church.

On Aug. 4, 1915, she was married to Earl E. Nelson. They were parents of a son, who died in infancy.

Surviving are her husband; and two brothers, Russell and Clarence Forbes, of Danvers, Ill.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. W. W. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
