ARTHUR MILLER DIED APRIL 23 IN OREGON

Funeral services were held in Osceola Monday for Arthur Miller, who for a short time was a resident of Winterset, and whose death occurred April 23 at Eugene, Ore.

Mr. Miller was a native of Buena Vista county, where he was born June 22, 1891. Most of his life was spent in Clarke county, from where he moved to Oregon in 1947.

He was preceded in death in 1938 by his wife, Beulah, and he remarried in 1942. Two sons also preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fern Miller of Eugene; two daughters, Mrs. Fern Cooper of Winterset and Mrs. Ruby Hiatt of Pueblo, Colo.; three sons, Delbert Miller of North Platte, Nebr., Kenneth Miller, U.S. navy, of Chula Vista, Calif., and Keith Miller of the U.S. Army, Gary, Ind.; 14 grandchildren; three sisters and a brother.
