FRANK R. SOUDERS SERVICES AT LORIMOR

Funeral services were held Sept. 27 for Frank R. Souders, whose death had occurred Sept. 24 at Memorial hospital in Winterset.

Mr. Souders was 81 years of age at his death. He was born at St. Charles on Aug. 19, 1878, a son of Alfred and Polly Souders. On Nov. 18, 1903, he was married to Lucy Bumbarger. They were parents of eight children.

In early life he was a member of the St. Charles Church of Christ, later transferring to the Christian Advent church at Villisca.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Fon Crawford, Mrs. Elbert Reynolds and Mrs. Arland Smally, all of New Virginia, Mrs. George Jacobs of Lorimor, and Mrs. Gordon Rupp of Villisca and Mrs. Miles Jones of La Puente, Calif.; one son, William Souders of Las Vegas, Nev.; 25 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Black.

The funeral service was held from the Watts and Soll Funeral home in Lorimor, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Prubaker. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery
