Benjamin Franklin Bradshaw son of William Arnold and Nancy Emily Bradshaw was born near Truro, Iowa, Madison county on February 18, 1885, and departed from this life at his home near Truro, March 29, 1937, aged 52 years, one month and eleven days.
He united with the Christian church of Truro in his early years, where he was a faithful member until death overtook him.
He was united in marriage to Blanche A. Neff, February 17, 1909. To this union two children were born, Mrs. Nola Gracey of Cedar Rapids and Carl at home.
He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, two children, one brother, George W. Bradshaw, of Newton, one grandson, Kenneth and many other relatives and friends.
He was a kind father, a devoted husband, a good neighbor and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
(Burial in Hartman cemetery).
