TRURO RESIDENT BURIED THURSDAY

Harry B. DeLong Died Oct. 28 Was Resident There Most of Life

Harry B. DeLong, a resident of the Truro community most of his life, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, at his home there. He was 64 years of age.

Mr. DeLong was born in Clarke county on April 26, 1894, a son of Court and Eva DeLong. His life was spent in farming.

He was married at Osceola on Nov. 4, 1914, to Garland Lyons, who survives him. He also leaves a son, Dale DeLong of Omaha; two daughters, Helen Blackford of Indianola and Dorothy Porter of Ralston, Nebr.; 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three sisters, Flossie Patterson and Effice Spencer of Truro and Fae Ritchart of Orient.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro, conducted by the Rev. Dale Lockart. Burial was made in the Young cemetery near Truro.
