JESSE E. BUSH DIED THURSDAY

Death Occurs at Memorial Hospital at Age of 77 Years

Jesse E. Bush, a resident of Madison county for most of his life, died last Thursday, March 20, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 77 years of age.

Mr. Bush was a native of Burlington, where he was born June 27, 1880, a son of Jackson and Sarah Bush.

During his active years he was a blacksmith by trade. He was a member of the Christian church in Adair county and was affiliated with the Odd Fellows and Modern Woodmen lodges.

He was married Jan. 25, 1910, to Elcy Jones, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Gray; a son Wray Bush; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a brother, T. J. Bush of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Warren Hile, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
