LUCY MORRISON DIES AT 93 YEARS

Death Occurred Thursday at Memorial Hospital in Winterset

Mrs. Lucy E. Morrison, a resident of Winterset since 1942, died Thursday, Sept. 18 at Memorial hospital here. She was 93 years of age.

Mrs. Morrison was the former Lucy E. Klinker, daughter of Henry and Matilda Klinker. She was born in Mahaska county on July 9, 1865.

She was married to Charles G. Morrison on March 6, 1884. His death occurred in 1937. Since 1942 she had made her home in Winterset with her daughter, Matie Morrison.

She united with the Christian church in early life, and was a member of that church in Winterset.

Surviving are her four children: G. W. Morrison of Phillipsburg, N.J., and Mrs. Clara Chantry of Spokane, Washington and Mrs. Lucy Roseland and Matie Morrison of Winterset; also nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and a brother, C. J. Klinker of Huntington Park, California.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Anderson home for funerals here, in charge of the Rev. R. A. Owens, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial was made at Rising Sun.
