C. P. GUIBERSON DIED ON SUNDAY

Life-Long Resident of this Community Was Veteran of World War I

Clarence P. Guiberson, a life-long resident of Winterset died Sunday, Dec. 28, at Veterans hospital in Des Moines. He had been a patient there for about two months, and had been in failing health for the last year.

Mr. Guiberson was 68 years of age. He was born here Aug. 9, 1890, a son of James and Barbara Guiberson, and spent his life in this community, with the exception of the time he spent in the U.S. army during World War I.

During most of his life he was employed by the American Express company in Winterset. Later he worked for Brown Truck lines.

Nearest surviving relatives are two sisters, Mrs. Charlie Jones of Winterset and Mrs. Leona Myers of Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held this Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m. from the Anderson home for funerals, conducted by the Rev. Robert Owens, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
